    Yes and no.

What would I be looking for if I threw the Charger on the dyno?

Yes and no is a little grey.....
Were you originally running regular gas and converted to E85?

    As far as dyno question.
    I was curious about HP/TQ with E85.

Yes, all I did was change the injectors and load the Predator canned 93 tune and no I haven't had it on the dyno.

I went from consistent 13.6-13.3's on gas and 13.2-12.9 on E85. The only difference being the larger injectors with the E85. 12.9 1/4 mile times might not be impressive, but I'm a large guy and the Charger was at full showroom weight.

So your fuel consumption went up right? How much extra E85 do you have to put in the chamber to see an increase in power?

Now if you go back and run 93 Oct pump gas on the 52lb injectors what would happen?

MPG for track purposes only, was calculated at 10-12 mpg. Maybe with a bit smaller injectors and a custom tune you could have the power and the mpg, but for a 30 minute injector swap it works fine for my purposes.

I put the stock injectors back in for pump gas use. The Hemi wasn’t too happy with the change back to the stock injectors and the pump gas, but after a short drive the Charger was running like the change never happened.

Note: I went back to pump gas for my upcoming KB install.

I'm surprised I didn't hear more about E85 prior to selling my car. I am about to add 1200cc injectors and a larger fuel pump to my car and can expect unbelievable gains. Guys are seeing 75-100whp and torque gains. This for just under $1k. Luckily there are quite a few E85 pumps around San Diego. I'm still going to buy four five gallon containers to have accessible around the house.

I'm leaning more and more towards it for my Mustang. I plan to get a 55gal drum w/ pump in my garage. The Charger, naw, I drive that too far to worry about finding E85 stations, not to mention is just a hair past stock. 105 would kill the power without putting the timing through the roof....

Also, take into consideration that ethanol (or any alcohol) will absorb water. It has a much shorter shelf life than gasoline. Make sure that the storage drum or tank is suited for ethanol.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been doing some research and think I have it nailed down. However, with the drop in fuel mileage I doubt I'll have any ethanol in the containers for very long. I'm just excited that I'll have a 400whp car that only weighs 3200 pounds. The irony is that I was a tad bit embarrassed driving the car at first. But, I get compliments on the car pretty frequently. When I got the car I remember seeing my Commanding Officer driving towards me leaving the command. I turned my head and acted like I was getting something out of the passenger seat so he wouldn't see me. I'm really enjoying it though.

After you add the bigger fuel pump and larger injectors...
I wonder if you could tune the car for E85 and have another tune for premium gas with the bigger pump and injectors? I don't really see why you can't. That must be what Flex-Fuel cars do.
Then if you cannot find E85 you only have to change tunes.
