Install Pics / How To ... SX 392 Catch Can

    Today, after having my new GWE 392 just 24 hours, our new 392 logo catch cans were completed and ready to ship to you guys ... and install. Since the catch can is an important aftermarket component, I put one on my new ride this afternoon. Here are some pics of the process.

    Lock nut on:

    Tighten the lock nut:

    Front hose installed, with supplied brass connector. (Note: you have to rotate the rubber elbow to face forward):

    The kit indicates to remove the rubber piece shown here and connect the new hose to that location. However mine wouldn't budge so I used an additional brass connector (as shown) to connect the new PCV hose to the existing rubber piece. The kit does not include this additional brass fitting, but I liked the set-up so went this route.

    Rear hose installed, with additional brass connector:

    Note: in order to get the hoses to have smooth curves (no kinks) you will probably need to rotate the brass connectors on the catch can slightly. As shown here:
