We spent the day with TPN Racing Blackforest and their race team on Saturday, and got to see their Challenger GRAND-AM race car up close and personal. I took a bunch of pics and want to share them with you since this is the only GRAND-AM Challenger race car and quite a nice one at that! Note: there are no engine bay pics, and certain other areas are not shown ... but that is because TPN had developed some pretty cool one-off ... parts and we'll be showing those in the near future. At Watkins Glen the car was running faster lap times in the race than they did in qualifying when they were taken out by the accident, times were on par with the leading cars times. The next event for the TPN/Blackforest Speedlogix Challenger is Road America June 24th! Race will be broadcast on Speed Channel Jul 3, 1:00 PM ET
Next time you are over we will get you setup with with a tour of the race shop! I will check, the races are on speed channel...guess you cant get that over there huh, maybe there is a way to view online, will have to see. You can watch the races online...no video..but streaming updates of track times and positons on the Grand Am site...www.grand-am.com, this includes all practice and qual sessions as well
