seems to only happen at like 10mph or less...like right before i come to a complete stop.

What pads did you go with? Did you bed them in? Do you brake slow and long or firm and short. I recommend the firm and short route.

Do they do it (or get worse) as they get dirty.

Mine do it as well but its only when they get very dirty. After a good cleaning out of the excess dust, it usually goes away.

Just something i have noticed on mine.

ya its something that i have noticed if i do a long easy break....if i do a short and firm brake they dont do it.... also they are a ceramic pad, not to sure of the name...i told my mechanic get the best but i guess his best arent good enough hahah...

now my brother had a 300 srt he said his always did it as well...

it does happen when they get dirty...after a fresh bath they seem to work pretty good...its just weird cause they could squeel at this red light and then the next nothing...while applying the same amount of pressure to the brakes...just annoying when you roll up and people are like damn that car is hot and then i brake and they laugh hahaha know what i mean

If they cool down they will probably squeal more than when they are hot.

They will normally squeal less at full temp.

I'll get those fuckers to stop squealing!!

brakes=stopping, breaks=your arm, if you keep spelling breaks as brakes lol

"best" usually does not mean "quiet".
"best" for the road course usually does not mean "best" for the street.
There is stopping power and then there is how long it lasts.

Depends on what you want. You can get something that will stop an ocean liner but fades out to nothing on the second corner. Or ou can get something that will only stop a small winnebago but it will do it all day long. You might want the first or you might want the second.

With serious track pads you might do better dragging your foot until you get a good bit of heat into them. Maybe not so good for that first mile or two in rush hour every morning. Then again those wonderfully quiet pads for those cool mornings might not quite get the job done when you hit that steeper than expected exit ramp at 100+.

MANY/most of the really high performance pads will squeal under light braking and/or when not hot. Whenever I see a hot car making noises like a rusty hinge first thing in my mind is "ooh, track pads" :)
