Hey there, all!! Just sayin' hi from the middle of the ocean on the painfully slow internet. Even a 28k dial-up would seem like a T1 line right now. Anywhoo....we are on day 71 since we left good ol' San Diego. 71 days straight at sea tends to make ones mind wander in odd places. But, I am no worse for wear, considering all the humanitarian work we were involved in for the Japanese. When we finally do get a port, and I have some decent internet, I'll post up some pictures the news may not have shown. Utter devastation. Words can't describe. Well...I'm off for now. Miss the wife, the boy, the 'C', and of course, the car. Catch you all on the flip side!
Nice hearing from you Jeff. I was in the Navy for 4 years and was never on a ship. But I did a year on Adak. It was called preferred sea duty, and counted as being on a ship for a year and a half. lol Take care of yourself and we appreciate what you are doing for us here at home.
looking fwd to the pics! Good to know we have the resources to help like that. Wish we could do more for them. I can't imagine the losses they are going through over there.
