I don't think the pistons were ever the issue...it is the rods if I am not mistaken. I would have to see after stuffing a couple of piston/rods in. The pistons come notched at the bottom of one side of the skirt so I think you just bend the squirter slightly for final fitment after everything is bolted up. I also heard once the K-1 rods were hitting the squirter so the implication was/is that there is a rod out there that doesn't, not sure. Cam-the-Madman will know...but I think he is out enjoying the rain coming down on his head
Corona Del Mar near Newport Beach. Silly wife Heading to the Doubletree tomorrow night to make sure things are in order i.e. beer is on ice
Look for (one of the many) 2011 Chargers in the parking lot. I'll be near one of em and those must have been taken prior to the rain today. We are chillin out in the room the rest of the night haha.
With the squiters in the stock location the rods will hit the body. So recessing the squiter takes care of that issue. Then you need to bend the squiter up and over the skirt of the piston. I also shortened the nozzle and machined off the bottom of the body the same amount it was recessed into the block.
200 degree temp swing in your favor is always good, make it 100% legit, and your golden. Can't wait to see pistons installed. The machine work looks involved...
Cam spent a few feet of cigarettes thinking about how to best go about the squirter issue(with an impressive ash, I might add ) Ron, callin' ya now! SteveO...will do buddy!!

Thank YOU Jon, I had an awsome time and I did beat Ralph Gilles on with the V6, "only" about a second behind Sam H. I posted a 57.5 with the V8 and was content with that as I was 0.7 sec ahead of everyone bar Sam and Ralph. Will do a better wrightup when I get home, glad you had a safe trip back. Fredrik:ronlove:
