What point would I need the full 4" true CAI. I have magnaflow mid pipes, Corsa c/b, Stack Perf intake spacers, BT ported TB, and predator. All I plan to do is an SRT MAX cam and custom tune when the warranty expires. Then I will be done for performance mods. Will the 4" to 3.5" true CAI be sufficient enough for me? Unlike my Mustang, I really hate cutting on my SRT8. No 426/440 in my future b/c I need to finish my other toys first LOL.
to be quite honest, the 4" true really shows its stuff on the heavy breathing cars. strokers, or those with more aggressive head/cam set ups with larger tb. the advantage goes beyond the 4" diameter though....... it also is allowing you to pull the coolest air available, no matter how heavy breathing your set up is. if you do not want to enlarge the air inlet hole, i have other options that would very well without the need to modify the car.
what he said^^^^ everything you need for the kit comes with. even the little edging material to finish off the air inlet hole after you have enlarged it. i also supply the needed zip ties to hold the iat extension harness in place.
Kit is very complete, all high quality parts. You can purchase with piece of mind. It is a favor from Chris that he offers this to us for the price he does. Anyone else would be 30-50% more.
