Well guys when I traded in my 06 MSRT of the 08 MSRT I took the rims off of the 06 and had them place them on the 08. On the way home found out that the tpms was not working long story short took the car to my dealer and had them put in new ones. Now since my rims are painted I was very clear and he wrote down on the ticket do not use gun use torque wrench! Because you will chip the rims. Well when I picked up the car the rims were all chipped up every rim! To say I was pissed well! Anyway they said they would make it right so a month later they said drop her off. They gave me a loaner and off I went. To my shock they call me 2 days later and said the car is ready? I went to pick her up and they had some nice guys sand down the chips and paint the rims with what looked like spray paint that was faded into the rims paint. Now it looked real bad because they used a flat paint and my rims are BB! They said we will take care of you! Now at this stage I was real worried that they rims would never be right! A week later they called me and said drop it off. Well After 6 long weeks I got the car back to today. Basically they took them to some rim shop what had them for a week and did nothing. Then they took them to there own body shop and a young guy who just started working there took on the project! It took him 3 weeks just the sand down and prep the rims. I stopped by twice a week and man was I worried. But in the end the rims look better than when I first dropped the car off to get the TPMS sensors. So the bottom line is Brandywine Dodge in Delaware took care of it and did me right and I am happy! By the way I was cool with her sitting in th shop as we had a lot of snow during that time and I had the loaner. But Monday she goes to my body shop to have some work done for the car show season!! So I will not have her again:baby:.
I hope to get some tomarrow when I get her out LOL. But as i said she goes to the body shop monday the last owner either did not knwo what they had or cared! have to get both bumpers and side molding under the doors repainted. Along with some dentless repairs down so she is ready for the car show's this year! Overall I am really happy with her! Loved the 06 but had to have a 08 and to have find out I have the last Steel blue made. Well I am just real happy to have her! Just wished I knew it when I got her cause I would have let her 100% stock. But starting to get all the parts that came with her on the shelf lol.
Your right it shows how things are these days! No one does what they are supposed to do! So its a shocker when they do the right thing!
