No more 1bad4dr... NM License Plate that is. lol DMV requires that you hand over your old plates when registering in CA. New Plates are ordered though. I opted to get Veteran plates. They only hold 6 characters so I opted for 1bd4dr.
yea, I really tried to get the guy to let me keep the plate. He won. haha Front plate bracket will be purchased soon. John Prosk has the sliding front bracket and gave me a link to where he got his. Woot. No drilling holes in the fascia yet still being able to hide the plate when needed.
Are they picky about the front plates down there? It's a fixit ticket, and I haven't got one yet... (knock knock knock). You're never going to park where they might check that anyway. Like leaving it at the airport or something.
lol they are picky about EVERYTHING down here. I am getting the retractable plate bracket. It will bolt up under the bumper support so it hides nicely.
I´m with Tam, I thought you might have been in an accident and totaled the car... I got a ticket for not having the front plate on this fall, but we just get a 100 dollar ticket and not a "fixit". Fredrik

I bit the bullet and just screwed the holes for my front plate. I didn't like it but I did it Over 11 years I stopped hundreds and hundreds of people for not displaying their front plate...from any state that needed two. I wrote MAYBE 5 tickets and those were to locals with other circumstances involved, like putting the front plate on another vehicle or whatever. No front plate is an open door to get stopped...and if you're Larry or Kyle, you like to keep your moonshine to yourself. lol I would just rather not get stopped if I can help it.
i would have said i returned them in NM or it fell off the car or was stolen last week on a side note your new plate should have said 1bigDB... LOL j/K
