I was in need of painted to match side marker lights and Tamara had a set she never used. Well, when I got home today, there was a package from Tamara waiting for me. Thank you so much Tamara. You are awesome!!!
lol The original ones were replaced this past summer when I broke the clip off of the drivers side. Had Ernie make me new ones. Well, unbeknownced (sp?) to me, the slot for the clip on the headlight was also broke, so the damn marker kept coming out at highway speeds. Because the wiring harness for the markers are so long, when the marker would come out, it bounced off my fender and tire, which ruined the paint on the marker. And yes, I have four small dings on my fender as well. ARGH. So, since Tamara was kind enough to part with her markers, all I have left is to get new headlights and get my fender repaired. lol Sigh! Headlights will come in a couple weeks once Maureen starts working again. Woot. Oh yea, and I need new tail lights too. Thanks to the Fix It ticket I received two weeks ago. haha 402 Motoring is loving me right now.
Ron, when you install the new markers, use some RTV on the areas that make contact with the mounting area. Little insurance. I had one of mine pop out at about 120, dinged my fender a little, then flew off!
