I could be had for an CLK Black :)

I have always been a benz guy...the place my parents get their cars from has an SL63 out front (or did when we went to get my mothers new car) and I could totally rock one of those out lol

I would like to go for some road courses but I dont know I'd be all that keen on replacing brakes and tires and messing with suspension crap all the time. It was always a good time at the TE.

I'll just stick to the 1/4...that at least I can do lol.

I offered to have my buddy bring his modded up new M3 (white with the CF roof) to the track and run me in the 1/4...but he wants no part of it LOL

M3's and the 335's are nifty cars, just not my style haha.

Big, Fat, and Loud....hm...new yorker....big...fat...loud....I see it now!

Wow, just saw this thread, LOL ... good timing as we just got a 2011 BMW X5 on Sunday. I loooooove it, and it drives so great I forget it's a big SUV. I never cared for BMW in general (no reason, just didn't know much) but I am in love with the X5 and BMW now. Every car comes with a 4yr/50k mile warranty + maintenance and we bumped up to 6yr/100k (for practically nothing) on the maintenance and road side, so it was a great deal.

    NICE SUV!

Pretty much the same experience/attitude I had about BMW... never gave them a second thought... UNTIL I actually experienced one.

I´ll have a BMW over a Benz any day of the week!
Nice car Lisa even if I would have chosen a slightly lower car for baby stuff (I don´t care for SUVs nomatter from where...).
Driving at roadtracks eats mostly brakes, not so much tires as you would imagine, and the suspension on an SRT is good for most pepole starting out!

Fredrik (Who thinks the SRTs are better at roadcourses than 1/4)

PS. Havent driven the new M3 with the V8, but it looks really good on paper, too bad my wallet is to thin...

Let's see... 1 day working on the King's river view property.
Whole rest of the year spent on yachts, motorcycle touring, snowmobiling at the North Pole, and family vacations in the Canary Islands. 'bout 1 hour overtime should cover the M3?

    Muuuahahaha, I wish!
Actually got in the water today, hit the bottom and visibility was down to 3 inches...
In between the mentioned I´m busting my balls with two jobs and turning every single coin, a girlfriend working full time and earning decent wages helps as well...

The BMW dealer offered me $24-25k for the charger on trade. She has 24k miles on her. What y'all think of that trade value?!

I think that's a hellofa trade value. Of course it depends on how much he jacked up the price of the bimmer (or how much he didn't discount it).

You bust international drug dealers and you don't know how to shop for a car?

NO...he prescribes to The "Bud" mentality of car shopping....BUY, BUY, BUY!! If he didn't have the thought of his wife kicking his teeth in on a street curb he would have traded it in for $20K the day we did the test drive.
