How was your year? Good stuff: Marc kept his job in spite of his company getting acquired by another company. Madeline turned 2 and is all caught up developmentally My thyroid nodule biopsy came back benign/indeterminate We moved into a bigger nicer apartment I got profiled for an AOL Autos article Got the car fixed up Ditched my idiot academic advisor Had fun celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas with Madeline Bad stuff: Lost two friends (Ron Ow and Jim Edwards) Missed SpringFest for the first (hopefully last) time Car got dinged in the parking lot Haven't had much luck getting my A1C below 8.0 Next year's looking better though: Got a part-time job starting next month thru March, maybe April Taking Mom and Madeline to SpringFest Madeline's turning 3 and if things go as planned starting pre-school in the fall I'm finishing up my coursework to graduate in April with a diploma in hand by June
All in all, pretty good year for me and the wife too. NO heart surgeries for the first time in six years. NO relapes from prostate cancer; Needing another checkup though. Wife Tee and I went to MORE car shows/cruises than ever before All FOUR MAGNUMS are NOW running GREAT, even our DEMON (flood car) Just paid off Tee's Scion XB We got ourselves a laptop for Christmas, so Tee can be on same time as me. Got to see our son Durke and our two grandkids; first time in FOUR YEARS! Loving my wife TEE more and more every day. THE BAD: First time Tee has ever really gotten sick; missed time @ work & got FIRED! Wanting to visit my CHILDREN a lot more in 2011. Our old house Trailer is in need of repairs, but it's warm and dry. Hoping to get to drive my SRT Magnum MORE in 2011. Coldest December on record EVER!!!
Well, had an exellent vacation in Florida for three weeks, got a Vortech kit and some other stuff from Speedlogix, a quick meet with Chris (LMI) and did all the tourist stuff, from Key West to Disney. Installed the Vortech and have had a blast! 8 weeks summervacation, did the driveway and laughed my ass off drinking stupid amounts of beer. Kids are growing and slowly learning to do things themselves. Great year! Fredrik
