haha at first I didn't think Maddy would let anyone unpack the tree... She did a wonderful job at decorating though.
Nah, Marc brought the box up last night after she went to bed and she spent the whole day bugging us about the TEE!! the TEE!! and knocking it over and pushing it around and just as we were about to crack it open I catch her trying to play "Choo choo!" on it so I snapped a couple photos.
You need a cat.....Christmas trees are way more fun when you have to try and pull a cat out of it every hour or so......lol......nice T.....I haven't had a tree in 3 years now. Kinda miss it(the tree).
My wife is a freak about Christmas...every year, the day after Thanksgiving, the tree goes up. Her and my girls love to decorate it and the house. I just watch and drink beer. She bitches, but i say, "Hey, i paid for all that crap" Same shit every year.
Eh, we made a run to Big Lots and Marc was basically only going to do the bare minimum and since he's paying I don't feel like arguing. So no tinsel, no tree topper, no icicle lights for the patio railing, just what you see. I had to sneak the skirt in the basket. All this and he made me drive the grueling mountain roads in the Charger to get to Half Moon Bay for pumpkins for Halloween and after all that, he didn't bother to carve my pumpkin, just his and Madeline's. So yeah....I'm trying not to be bitchy about it, but damn. Main thing is Madeline is so totally into ALL of it.
Yeah, its funny but I look at the Christmas story in a whole new light after having a baby of my own and watching her grow. For all the scary circumstances they might be born into, children are hope and happiness and all that good stuff bundled up in a cute little package, even when they get grumpy and fussy.
Me and Giulia are going out to cut down the chrismas tree after lunch, exellent stuff! Its the look on their faces that make chrismas, thats fore sure. Fredrik
Absolutely. Granted I like christmas trees but it's the kids we really do it for. They get so excited with the decorations, advent calendars, and all the other stuff we have around. I wish we had more time so we could do more then what we perceive to be a half assed job. But, kids at ages 7, 4, & 4 months don't leave much time.
I was scrolling through pics and Gabrielle (my four year old) looked over at the computer and said "stop....who is that....oh my God, she is sooo cute!!"
great pics tam!!! my little guy would not stop bugging me about putting up our tree the weekend after thanksgiving!!!! and erik - i have three cats that LOVE to play in the tree............... good thing the damn tree is so heavy they can't knock it over!!! lol
Haha! Madeline hears that sooo much that she describes her favorite stuffed animals as "Soo KYOOT!" Which is again, soo cute. Its like raising Nermal.
I had my lawnmowers put up my Christmas stuff the damn lawn is dead anyway they need to do something besides sleep under my trees.
