WOW! lol... That makes me feel like a heel! hahaha... When I bought mine i had the same intentions, and they lasted for... oh about two years I'd say. Then life took over, and it went longer and longer between washes, then longer between waxes. Now, it's my daily driver, come what weather may. It's a great little car.
When I test drove the RT Magnum it was the largest car I had ever driven! I went from my lil '86 Celica to that on the test drive and felt as though I was driving a tank!
Oddly enough, you mention the way it felt the same as an RT, up here at altitude I can pretty much run with the V8's. Even the SRT's and SS's... (would that be the right way to say it? shrug) only beat me by a bit. ya know a second or two. ;)
Anyhoo, I'm sure you'll find one, I just hope the previous owner cares as much as you did. :)

Well the day I drove the Charger R/T was the FIRST day I did a WOT run shifting through all the gears in the PT and it DID surprise me how fast the little PT would run! I had messed with it a few times but NEVER WOT like that!

The ONLY drawback on mine was the RESALE VALUE ~ went into the dumps!

Oh yeah! I hear ya! I got a letter from Chrysler saying that they'd give me $4900 for my PT if I traded it in for a new Jeep.
*eye roll* If I remember correctly, only two or three years after buying my car for $23 and change it was only worth 7k.
*sigh* Oh well, I'm not going to sell it, cuz it's worth way more to me anyhoo.
Question... how old are you? lol I have a grandfather that restores old Chevys. He's... maybe 65ish. I think it's cool that a car guy can still be a car guys no matter how old, or young. ^_^

Nevin, don't you already have one, for your wife?
Funny thing is, I'm kinda in the same boat... only the opposite. lol
I'd love to have an SRT! My cousin traded his V6 Stang for a 2010 GT Stang, and I gotta say, the V8 is sooooo sweet! I've drivin and ridden in it a lot, and I'm fighting off the bug. lol
