**UPDATED WITH PICS IN POST #8!!
Well. Needless to say, I'm fuggin PISSED!!!! Got the Option5's all mounted up tonight, and.........BAM!!!!! Absolutely NO CLEARANCE WHATSOEVER between the tire & the fender well. I was under the impression that I wasn't going to have to roll the fenders with the offset on these!!!! I thought they'd tuck right up under the fender, but they DON'T!! I drove home on the smoothest roads possible, going no more than 40 mph the whole way. She only had minor scrubbing about 6 times, THANKFULLY no damage to the fenders, paint, tires, etc. The stock wheels are at the wheel shop getting repaired tomorrow & delivered back to me, at which point they will be going back on the car. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT???!!! I had these GORGEOUS wheels custom painted, and I'm truly in love with them, but I refuse to roll the fenders on this car!! It's a daily driver for me, and WILL be driven in the rain (unlike the Charger), so I don't have the tolerance for wide open bare metal fenders. I'm so fricken furious right now, and just don't know what to do.

Yeah, I could raise the car back up (it's on KWV1's) about an inch, but why would I sacrifice stance, when I can just find a wheel that fits properly??!! So if rolling the fenders is out of the question, and raising the car back up is out of the question, then it looks like I may be selling these beauties (and no, I don't have pics, it was dark by the time I left the shop). The only thing I can think of, is to "mill down" the back of the wheel (as in the mounting pad) to reduce the offset a few millimeters, or mill down the back of the rotors, to do the same??? If you have any advice, please offer it up. But for now, I guess I'll be taking the next few days to marinate on this problem, and look to fix it when I get back in town Friday next week. :( Any advice is appreciated.

Is it rubbing only in the front?

Actually MAINLY in the back. My fear in the front though, is when I turn during spirited driving, it'll rip the fender off. But I drove like an old lady on the way home, and all the rubbing came from the back.

Not sure, but milling the rotors won't work. The calipers are fixed on the spindle and you would be forcing the rotor into the inner brake pad. Also, you'd have to mill (exactly to the same specs) every set of rotors you ever buy. That seems like it'd get pricey...and annoying...

Just spoke with Walker. We're gonna roll the fenders Saturday night & go from there.

Yea dude, roll the fenders and fab liners out of conveyor belt or hard plastic from lawn and garden center in Home Depot. Whatever material, it's not difficult. Cut to fit, drill it, and push pins to secure..

so dumb question, what is different between your wheels/tires and other 22's that have worked thus far?

    Offset?

    Ride Height on the 300?

    Tires have a thicker sidewall?

and regardless, wont you have to have more space between tire/fender? Raising the car a little wont completely destroy the look lol

I just simply made the decision to do what's necessary on the Charger to make it work, and that meant making custom fender liners, etc. I didn't want to do that on the 300. I don't remember what the offset is on my Asantis on the Charger?? But yes, these tires are a tad bit "thicker" in sidewall also. Ride height is the same on both cars

You're right Chase, those wheels ARE good looking...and I don't usually like aftermarket wheels too much.

If anyone is interested in taking these off my hands. Shoot me a PM. I've already had one offer. With all the work I've done to them, including TPM's, I'd be asking for $2600, but I'd pick up shipping. It COST ME over $2700 to get everything done, with mount & balance, etc. And with it costing me ~$100 to ship these, I'd be taking a $300 loss on these. So if you're interested, my price is firm. :)

How square are the shoulders on those tires? There is a fair bit of variance from rounded shoulders to squarer ones.

I have the fenders rolled on the Charger, they had to be rolled SO AGGRESSIVELY, that I had to have custom fender liners fabricated, so I didn't have gaping holes under there. I'm just hoping this doesn't have to happen on this car. If I can roll the fenders enough, and maintain the stock fender liners, I'M HAPPY. We will find this out tomorrow night & I will post an update then.

Hell, I came home tonight, and saw that baby sitting in the garage with the new wheels, AND SHE'S BEAUTIFUL. I'm really hoping that the fender roll, takes care of it. If it doesn't, I'll raise it back up about 1/4" and see if that helps. As of right now, I'm hoping these two options get me fixed. Thanks for all your feedback, it's greatly appreciated. At this point, I'm just crossing my fingers!!

it looks like the offset is off a bit. how much space do you have from the back of the spoke to the brembo's f/r? rolling the fenders may help, but it looks like it's hitting close to the outer edge of the fenders. if you roll the fenders all the way, becareful not to damage the paint. if you raise it anything, won't solve the problem. as soon as you put people or things in the trunk, the weight will bring it down and rub again. to me, it sounds like the offset is off and could be tucked in more.
