I am no way affiliated with the Company, just something I stumbled on yesterday. So I was a LONG time user of BlackBerry's, since Nextel first came out with them with PTT (push to talk). I finally switched over to ATT some years ago and still use BB's, last year switched to IPhone 3G S, 16GB and loved it. Well since the 4 came out, I've been wanting to upgrade, but I wanted to make sure all the bugs were out. So I was at RadioShack yesterday and was looking at the iPhone 4, list for $199. I was talking with the sales guy and was ready to leave and then he mentioned to me the buy back program they have. You trade in your old iPhone for X amount of money depending on model and condition. I still had the box, all cables, ear phones and the phone was still in mint condition. There were just a couple minor scratches along the edge. So the upgrade price is $199 for the iPhone 4, 16GB and I got $196 for my used 3G S. Its a promo that iPhone is doing exclusively with RadioShack and not at ATT or Apple Store. So it was a deal I could not pass up, just $4, + tax, and $70 for Apple Care. I just wanted to share this with all, because RadioShack isn't allowed to advertise and I'm sure most don't know about this deal. So go out and get the new shiat!!!!! I'm loving the new iPhone 4 so far, more upgrades. http://radioshack.cexchange.com/onl...=sU4reD6QJWP5MQn1SwFn38CtURe9PcXAJv9fUpYciv8= Later! Jimmy Btw, let's start talking via cell/vid...lol!
Btw, if you guys wanna watch free Movies on your iPhone, go to www.iphonemoviez.net and you'll see all kinds of movies, including released 2010. I just bought the IPhone component A/V cable to hook up to my tv's and watch the movies on the big screen. Cable was like $45 from Apple Store.
Saweet! always glad to help. don't forget to check out the free moviez site. just watch SALT with the wife last night. quality is ok on the big screen, but hey, it's free.. watching it on smaller screen is much clearer. great to have when your bored at work or something.opcorn:
AWWWWW HORSE SHIT!!!!! I got my iphone 4 at a radio shack (in hawaii of all places) and they didn't have this deal going.....Of course, my old 3G wouldn't have fetched me nearly that price.
'Tis true. My buddy wants it though, even if there is a dead spot in the screen (long story) so I'll probably sell it to him for fifty bucks. He really just wants it as an ipod.
maybe a ploy they are using to re-up your contract for another two year term? ATT is freaking out about how much biz they are going to lose when their contract with apple expires. one of the ways they are trying to cut their losses is with the new windows 7 phones, they will also have exclusivity.
yeah, i'm loving the new 4!!! thanks bratha!!! it's great that you can sell just about any electronic device, but i'm not sure on value for other electronics.
thats amazing given the fact an iphone 4 is around $600-700 without a re-up. http://osxdaily.com/2010/07/08/iphone-4-price-without-contract/ i would check again dude.
nvm, this time spoke with store manager and he stated that you do have to sign for another two years to get the special pricing. i apologize for the confusion, but it's still a sickazz deal, imo...
its cool, they tend to sneak that stuff in when you dont realize it. honestly, i have been doing the same thing with my verizon phones over the years. i use my blackberry (now a droid) for about a year and a half, then i go in to verizon to get a new phone. i own my BB still so i sell it on ebay or craigslist to people who want a newish phone with no contract. i sold my last curve for $150.
I was going to try to trade in my wife BB, not sure which model, but it's the last one without the track ball, has a square pad instead. RS was only to give $40, screw that!!!!
