Although I've had access to the internet I've hardly posted anything the past year. I deployed for three months to Afghanistan from October to February. I came home for three weeks and deployed to Iraq from March to September....a week ago. Both deployments were extremely productive and rewarding. It had some real sad times as well as a few folks I knew died in the process. God rest their souls. :rip: It is feeling great getting to know my wife, daughter....and car again! I've said it before, but I'll say it again, thank God for Skype! I don't know how people used to do it back in the day with only writing letters. :wallbash: I'm also excited because we traded in my Tacoma and purchased a 3 series BMW for the wife. That means I can drive my car as a daily driver finally. I always had the wife drive the car because it was safer than the truck. Woohoooo!!! My first plan is to buy some Nitto NT05's and sell the Proxes that are on the car now. They are a good tire, but not nearly as good as the Invo's or Vreds. Anyone have any suggestions on how much I should sell them for....$100 per tire? They have less than 5k miles on them. Anyways, it's great to be back!!! Rick :beerchug:
Yay!!! Welcome back, Rick. Glad to see you're doing well and thankful as always for your service and yes, you were missed.
Glad to hear your home and enjoying what your fighting for. Sorry to hear about you losses over there. Cindy and I are going to be working in San Diego in early January. If your still in town, we'd love to hook up with you.
Welcome back Bud! FWIW I paid roughly that for 2 Proxes a few months ago in about the same condition so I think that is a good price.
Thanks everyone! I sure missed hanging around here more. I popped my head in on occasion but was usually too tired to read most threads or post. Hal - of course I would love to see you and Cindy. If I am around in January it is a date. I will be back to my command in November and will know my schedule then. Jon - thanks, so you paid $100 for two (2) tires? My wife is going to shoot me for wanting to replace the tires already. I guess I have time on my side and she probably won't know the difference. Maybe I'll keep the Proxes on until March and then put the NT05's on then. That way I'll have the harder rubber on until it warms up a bit...not that it's really cold yet...but....
friggin awesome to read you are back!!! very glad you are back in one piece. look forward to your stories and seeing your mug back on the forum again!!
Bud, I paid $100 per tire, or maybe a little more per tire I don't remember...but for a low mileage Proxes I think it is a good price bro!
Thanks a million Mains! How's the STI treating you? A good friend of mine has one and I've got to drive it on one occasion around the proving grounds...love the thing!! Tag....you're it! You've been getting out to see pretty often right? I must have missed something...with you "fixing" it I'm sure it was deviant  Thanks Steve! What the hell is up with you? Momo just bought his wife a new "Nissan" Murano. I always laugh my ass of and think of you whenever I see it. LOL Chris....my brother....good to see you too. How is business going? I love it when folks get into business for the right reasons...because they are good at what they do!! Cool...that will pass the wife test! Thanks for the info Jon.
Thanks Larry! I will gladly show you my "butt" anytime you want. You will get the "special friend" pose! LOL EDIT: I multi-quoted you in the above post but I must have missed it.
