Heeello! My name is Travis and I am very new to the Connection... in fact I'm new to any website of this kind. I've never joined a forum website, and when I came across this one, I knew I would. ^_^ I drive a 2005 PT Cruiser GT, H.O. S1 Electric Blue Pltm Pkg. My mods have been on hold for some time due to a lack of work in my field. Right now I'm just trying to keep it running. lol
:welcome: to the C! And yeah, a lot of us have put the mod budgets on stand-by for economic reasons, so you'll fit right in.
Nice ride. I know from experience the Cruisers are nice little cars...bought my wife an '04 GT Cruiser. :bigwink: Oh yeah...:welcome: to the C.
Welcome to the "C"... Mile High City? You live in Albuquerque? lolololol I know, Denver. Couldn't resist. haha
Welcome from a FOUR MAGNUM family in North Carolina. I traded THIS PT Cruiser H/O convertable for my Magnum SRT! Gotta admit, I loved that little car!!!
Its the "mile high club" Ron! lol Welcome to a warm and friendly site with a lot of nutty pepole. Fredrik:welcome:
Wow! Thank you all so much for makin' me feel welcome! That's awesome of ya! I liked all the threads, and jokes. So... if I wanted to ask a question, I just do what I did with this thread, just make a new thread, and post my question? Thanks again to all! ^_^
Welcome to the site from another GT cruiser owner!!! 05 auto. looking to add a second turbo one to the family hopefully in the next few months.
a friend of mine is up in Denver with a turbo PT as well. i'll get him on here so you guys can try and meet up.
Why thank yoooou. ^_^ This is a very sweet forum, and I appreciate all the greetings! Nevin, that'd be sweet! So far I have yet to meet another PT Turbo... SRT4's, yes, but not my brethren. lol
Mine had the auto with the tiptronic shifter; it was the GT version with the H/O turbo. I tried out a stock NEW Charger R/T on the interstate nailing it between exits; then did the same with the PT and it was near the same as it felt to me. I did NOT like the stock Charger R/T ~ too Bland for ME! Then my wife Tee found the SRT Magnum and the deal was ON>>>> LOL I had NO plans on getting rid of mine but while in for the 5000 mile check up (It had a hair over 4500 miles), that dealer kept begging me to trade for something he had. Strangely after this happened I stated getting calls from a lot of dealers.... my only guess was that that dealer was trying to find something for me and talked to other dealers. After I made the deal for the SRT; the salesman told ME that they had SOLD mine BEFORE I traded it in. My PT was flawless; had it two years, 4800 miles, NOT a stone dig... it was Immaculate! I had heard from a friend that the Service Manager contacted their sales mgr to show HIM how NICE this car was and that is HOW it all started! I met the NEW owners ~ their paperwork cleared before mine did and got to talk to them! I never drove it in the RAIN and NEVER drove it with the top UP! I'd like another ONE someday!!!
