Yesterday I was having a great day. Beautiful weather, driving the MSRT for work, got two new clients, new tunes on the stereo....just cruising around with the windows down and the tunes cranked to 11 (almost). I'm driving through a NJ town down by the shore, and on a side street I see a BB Charger SRT8 waiting to merge with traffic. He has his windows down too, and he sees me. I give him the peace sign (we're both in dress shirts with black sunglasses - salesmen on the prowl haha), and drive past him. I stop at the red light at the next intersection and here comes the black Charger rolling up. "Nice car", he says. I return the compliment. "What year is that?" "06", I said. "08 here. How's it holding up?", he said. "It's awesome!", I said. He gave a thumbs up, light turned green and off we went. One of the best things about this car: Soccer mom vans driven by soccer dads who stare longingly after the black beast that is parked or just drove by him, reminding him that he sucks
Got a buddy with a jeep that needs an SRT LX for about 10 minutes to swap TCM's, raise shift points (because Jeep does not have that option on diablo) and swap back so he can take advantage of the new TCM..you game?
I have ONLY ever seen ONE SRT in our area and it was a silver Magnum. It was a shame as you can tell this is just a regular car to him and wasn't really taken car of..... what a shame!
