This is Harley, I have had a SRT 4 Neon for 2 years now, I have stock internals and head, a 84 trim generic bb turbo, big inter-cooler, QT DP with cut-out, Zetronics dash daq with O2 and GPS, I just removed the Apex NEO and tach adapter to set up my AEM EMS (that I have not been able to interface with yet), ARP 3" O2 pipe, stock cat-back ext, Bat relocated in trunk, OBX fuel rail with return and 255 WB (Spool-Boy style). I used summit's steal braided hose and AN fittings along with Gates submersible hose in the tank. 4" custom short ram CAI. I am tying to get the AEM going so I can continue the upgrades, i.e. Clutch, head, suspension and brakes. Hopefully one day I will upgrade to a 2,6 stroker. Thats about it, I have some stuff for sale as well that i will post in the for-sale section when I figure it out. To all a great evening.
Welcome to the C!!! do my eyes need adjusting or are you on PCM boost on your big turbo. just wondering because i see all the stock vac lines still there.
That pic is of the old 70 trim that i fried, but yes it was on PCM. it would often pop a bunch of vac lines when I would over 25 PSI of boost. I did the 3 BAR GM map and tip and it was holding pretty good until the compressor side turbine lost the bolt that holds it. I tried the vacuum delete mod but it didn't go very well so I got the AEM EMS.
we have "how to" on how to do a correct vac line delete and if you need diragrams i can throw some up too. its not hard. im on a stock turbo and i have all my lines bypassed for about 4 yrs and 60,000 mi now. it also helps clean up the engine bay for the nice show look.
