Extensions. May as well be open header. She drove the car 63 miles to the track, raced for 3 days(we stayed at a resort) and drove home yesterday. Everytime i say something she says "what?" lmao.

Did you notice much difference running open headers ? Any noticeable difference in where the power peaks ?

 

I never did any data logs but, our/her best was 11.75 previous and all i did was drop the mid pipes and center section of exhaust. I already removed the mufflers and tips previously. I also switched to a 9.5 BRAILLE race battery as opposed to the optima blue top we usually run. I got about 6 passes out of battery before it went dead in staging lanes. I never charged the battery before i left though.
I think the biggest gain was because of the extensions BUDOBOY suggested . I may be wrong though?

I would really love to do some dyno before and after runs..... I know the open pipes should change where the HP and TQ max out, could be its slight and it changes max torque from 4500 to 5100........ I would be interested in finding out myself.


I think I might punch out the cats in my Kooks HFs and drop the catback and see whats up

 

I went from catback and cats to extensions and it didn't move the curve left or right at all

I actually made more torque without catback too
