Prayers go out to your family Hal. In mourning of her death, be sure to celebrate her life......Take care of yourself big guy.
I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. It means more to me that you can imagine. Yesterday was very rough, it was my mothers birthday. My physical issues are secondary at this time. I'm having a hard time with my blood sugar levels, and I had a bad fall in May that sent me to emergency in Washington. I tore up my right knee and was in a leg brace and on crutches for almost a month. Later I aggravated my right shoulder and tore my rotator cuff. The doctor said my shoulder had probably been injured during my fall. So my knee still is weak, and I have to be careful, and my shoulder is ok other than during certain range of motions. The pain can be excruciating. So with all this and my peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage), mostly in my feet and lower legs, it makes it hard to walk for much distance, which I need to do for general heath. I'm on 5 meds, of which some side effects are weight gain, which everyone knows I don't need. Business has picked up some, so that's been very helpful for my state of mind. So again, thanks everyone for your support and kind words.
Ouch ouch ouch, Hal. What a rough time you're having. If you have access, I'd suggest some time in a pool. It lets you do the same exercise but without fighting gravity which is hell on your knees and feet as it is. I've been having a hard time with blood sugars too, but that's mostly because I treat my health as secondary to everything else. Which is stupid. So I'm with ya and I hope you're able to get things back under control. You got a lot of people pulling for you.
Heh... wait a minute. I remember the pictures. There's a pool right outside of that 14 car 18' ceiling garage at your new place!
Hal, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss... Its not easy losing someone close to you. God bless you and yours my friend.
You have my condolences Hal, my prayers are with you, and your family! I have been away also, it seems like I have been living in Japan for the last year.
It sounds like your mom had a peaceful and lovely passing. I hope I go in peace like that. God bless you and your Family.... Hal pls let me know if there is anything I can do for you!!!
Again, thanks everyone for your kind words. Spent the day with my sister running errands finalizing my mothers financials and a couple of hours with her minister preparing for the church memorial on Saturday. Internment will be before the party on Saturday. Will be taking the family to King's Island on Sunday. We had already planned it so we knew mom would still want us to go.
