Yeah, what he said. Every car I've had (starting with a 95 Tercel) had enough gas to get you at least 300 miles if you weren't driving like a doofus. I still get about 300 miles per tank in the Charger, but I'm also the taxi driver now.

I don´t live in the outback in Australia, I saw a program about a family living 300 MILES from the closest gasstation and grocerystore, kind of rules out the SRTs and you need the jerrycans just to go back and fourth...
Imagine coming home after a "shoppingrun" and realize you forgot something vital...LOL
Anyway, I have ditched all thoughts of a catback system, cruising at 3.000 rpms it makes enough noise, don´t want any more!
It sounds just right, but any more it would become irritating after a while.

50 mph???? watch it dave, your age is showing again...only people i see driving 50 mph on the highway have blue hair...just sayin, here it's more like 70 in the city and 80 on the highway.

Congrats man, i'm sure yall will enjoy it.

Holy shit dude...no wonder you get 250 miles per tank....you must cruise at around 90 mph?

but then you'd be haulin gas instead of haulin ass!

o thank god... we've all be trying really hard to divert the subject here so it wouldn't be so glaringly bad when you failed to close the deal again. Congrats!

Mopar/Corsa. Same or quieter when cruising, euphoric when floored or road racing.

Aaaah, time it from park to park. When you first take it out of park to when you finally put it back in park. people are amazed at how slow their average speed is.

congrats. I was hoping you'd go a little off the reservation, but at least you're committed and aptly screen named now more than ever.

Thanks. But not without a little teasing from you. :)
Lol. I hear ya man. I honestly was VERY OPEN to other ideas. But this thing provides the size, color, price, and honestly MODS, that I was after. Dude, you have no idea how many websites and searches I did looking for something in this capacity. No matter make/model, lol. It just kinda happened this way. On top of that, when I fly down to get the car, I'll finally get to meet Johan, Scott, Chris, and anybody else that I can muster up some communication with!!!

Don't you need a larger garage now that you've got all good cars?

    Thanks Tam!!
Dude. My wife and I were just talking about that a couple nights ago. We love our house, and have no plans to move. The only thing we wish is that we had a 3-car garage.....:(

To the side of it,yes. We got an estimate one time, $5K to have it done RIGHT. Just always find something else to spend our money on.

Just over 100, and thats acctually "almost" ok on some of our highways, enough to keep a lookout and you wont be in trouble, any faster and you need a bit of luck as well.

Okay, if you use red lights, stop signs, and getting behind the blue haired...MAYBE. i'm referring to average speed on the highway.

Darn, you mean you run the lights, ignore stopsigns and overtake "no matter what"?!?
If I ever end up in Louisiana or just have the chance to take a ride with you, remind me, and I´m on the BUS... LOL

Chase, sorry about the derailing of the thread, but I find this way to amusing...
