I guess the Bowtie folks have lowered their expectations a bit.

400 hp engine. I thought they were talking a 500 hp one?

i guess ponies cost money they didnt want to spend...

i dont see why they would make a 500hp camaro anyway...the price would be up there for that i'd have to believe in the 50K range...they have one of those already...its called the corvette...for the most part...its just a corvette with an less attractive body IMO haha...

I can see them adding hp later. I hope they don't though.

I'm not a big fan of the newer Vette looks wise. I love the new Camaro!

 

click on performance features. It says 400hp 6.0 Liter LS2 V8 engine

 

think the instrument cluster will carry over to the production model?

the camero will not ever upstage the vette...... now, when the new z07 comes out, then maybe the camero might get bumped up. lovely pecking order within gm!!!

Am I mistaken, I thought the LS2 was end of life, replaced with the LS3... The LS2 isn't used in any other 2008 cars is it?

I just hope they come out with a Pontiac version, the concepts drawings I've seen are awesome.

400hp is more then enough to start with. I'm glad they are shooting that high with such a small car. Gonna be a contender after a few years, I hope....
