Maureen and I picked Chris (Legmaker) up from his hotel Saturday around noon and decided we should give Chris a tour of the City. During our cruise, Chris kept asking about the Sandia Mountain on the East side of the City. As we explained the mountain, we had the great idea of taking the trip UP. Woot... Had to prep Chris as to the LACK of oxygen when at the sumit. ABQ sits at 5,000' ABOVE Sea Level and the Sandia Sumit sits at a staggering 10,634' ABOVE Sea Level. hahahahaha Poor Chris and his Sea Level oxygen was moving slow in the heavens... Here are some photo ops Maureen took advantage of... Yes, that is Albuquerque way down there. Maureen and Chris Me and Chris Misc. scenery of the Mountain. Yea, hard to believe there is wilderness and green in the DESERT. haha Yes Chris, that is a "Tree"... Chris: AAAAHHHHHHHHH More scenery pics... Back to the Store for some water before taking the FUN drive down the mountain. hehehehehe We really had a great time. Chris, thanks so much for extending your business trip an extra day. Maureen and I had a blast visiting and catching up.
