I don't think anyone will come out to say GWB was our greatest president, beit the left or right, but to keep drawing comparisons, aiming blame, and using his administration as the scape goat is getting tired...very tired.
At this point America was a better country when GWB was president, yeah, still fucked up, but better than we are today. To draw any comparison of the two would be like comparing a Kia to a Viper, two completely different agendas, and directions. The sad part is, only a career politician will be our next president, and the next and so on...no matter what millionaire lawyer we elect will do a bad job because of ideology and special interest. America needs a TRUE, honest, God fearing, red blooded, roll up your sleeve, get dirt under your nails, no give a shit, kiss my ass attitude, patriot leader badly. Do what's right, no matter who you piss off. I'm really sick of politics in general, and it seems it will only worsen with every election. They (both sides) treat it as a game, a pissing contest of who's cock is bigger, while we (American public) pay the price. Sickens me...

That letter in the original post screams the truth, and i think that the majority of Americans would agree with..."What has happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave?"

The problem I had with Bush was that he was the guy you describe that we need on some policies and a flip flopper on other policies. At least he didn't abuse the constitution or sell our country out to a communist ideology.

Well in his second year he was very popular, unlike Obama who has what thirty something approval rating?

LOL It's not a popularity contest in the sense you speak.
