Its finally done.....well about 99%. We worked on the car until 2:00 am on Sunday morning just to get it to that point. We still have a few details to go back over including finishing up the trunk area. In any case we unveiled the car to rave reviews at yesterdays Dub Show at Englishtown Raceway here in Jersey. The weather was hot and the show was packed with tons of high quality cars, nevertheless we took 1st Place in the Chrysler / Dodge category.

We talked to at least 3 or 4 guys about doing another wide body, in fact one of those is a 300 SRT.

Here are a few photos from yesterday, we'll have more in a few days.

HAWT DAMN!!!! Stunning Ernie!!!! :worthy: Just downright fuggin GORGEOUS!!!! I'm not a fan of the rear spoiler, but everything else is spot on! Will you guys do a pinstripe to better "define" the edge of where the blue & flat black meet? Or leave it as is?

The spoiler is one of Mo's and was a carry over item. We cut the sides down and bonded them to the lights as well as bonding the center section to a CBD trunk lid. As far as any additional striping I don't have any plans of adding that. The only plans I have is tp paint a new overflow tank since I didn't have time to do so and to finish up the trunk audio install. We had planned to build some side panels and to dress up the floor a bit but ran out of time. Otherwise its a done deal for me and I'm looking towards my next project.

The two tone is a very pleasant surprise. Forget the wide body for a moment, and just appreciate the rest. SICK! You guys have a TON of hours in this...mad props Ernie...congrats to all involved, and i'm sure the owner is ecstatic.

    Ernie,

You and your team have stepped up to the next level. AWESOME job my friend.

I am sure that the pictures do nothing for the detail? But WOW is that a beautiful job.

Congrats on the 1st place as well.

We still have some minor details that have to be completed or fixed but overall we are happy with the outcome. I think we're going to end up building a similar car for my wife. I'm looking to buy a wrecked 2.7 Charger and then gutting it and building it with either a 5.7 or 6.1 motor. Nothing to crazy just a nice driver that we can take to shows and park out in front of the shop.

Strokers sure do sound nice but I doubt that I'll have the money to do that. Really all my wife wants is a 6.1 with Kooks long tubes and a nice Corsa exhaust. I have my eye on a wrecked Super Bee but the way the auctions have been going these cars end up selling for more then they should. There are tons and tons of 2.7's and 3.5's in the yards compared to the R/T's and SRT's. I'm figuring nobody wants a 2.7 so I should be able to pick that up for a song. Then all I have to do is buy some components for the change over and I'm done.

Just thinking out loud...if you buy a 2.7 or 3.5, and drop in a 5.7 or 6.1, what else would have to be replaced for it to function properly. I would think the entire powertain, and all control modules...could get real pricey real quick.

Not first hand knowledge Ernie, just looking out.

I would have to replace most if not all of the wiring and computers, as well as the axle. Obviously it would become pretty expensive if I had to buy everything new but I'm thinking more on the lines of buying a relatively cheap 2.7 wrecked Charger and then buying a 5.7 Charger that really isn't rebuildable for all the parts I'm going to need. That wouldn't be my first ave though as I am actively searching for an R/T. Last week I had my eye on an 05 Magnum R/T that was a water claim. The car looked like it was well kept, no outside damage whatsoever but it didn't specify if it was fresh or salt water. A car like that is really only worth about 10-14K with a clean title but this one had a NJ Salvage title. It ended up selling for 4K, which I though was 2K higher then it was worth.
