Running supercharged is so much fun! While on a short testrun during final assembly this happend. Drove a few miles to get up to temperature and on my way into our little community I overtook a few cars, amongst them a SAAB 95 who seemed to get upset, comming into Trosa the limit is about 35, and he was tailgating me like he wanted to get to know me really well... I just ignored him cause what can I say, he drives a SAAB and I drive a SRT... Anyway, the limit eventually comes down to 20 and there are some zebracrossings and stuff and he was still on my tail, now I thought I´d at least show him what he´s missing out on, the road goes slightly uphills and on the crest its 35 again, halfway up I hammerd it, BAAAM I´m in first bouncing on the limiter, hit second and keeping it down for about 2 or 3 seconds, spinning both rears violently going slightly sideways. Lift off and I´m doing 40, the SAAB has stopped!!!! Hes just standing in a cloud of rubber and I´m laughing my ass off. Hopefully it will keep him of MY bumper, but if it doesn´t I´ll be happy to do it again, imensly fun! Fredrik:whistle:
you have zebra's in sweden????? lol sounds like you showed the saab what the srt is all about!!! kinda reminds me of the other day for me...... guy driving a new audi R8 pulls along side of me..... drops the hammer off the line and takes off. i "casually" catch up to him as we both enter an on ramp to a freeway. the moment we both get to the point of merging, i look and see no one on the freeway, so i hit it and pull along side of him. we are both going like hell, me sliiiiiightly pulling, but pretty much neck and neck. we both get off at the next exit and are next to each other. we roll down our windows and all the guy says is ......"WOOOOOW".......... lol
I´m going on a 500 mile tripp this weekend so that will be the big break-in. A friend is turning 40, I´ll be driving there and Ulrica is probably driving home on sunday... Fredrik
