Ouch... Ok first question, was the guy in the yellow jump suite the EMT? If not, where in the FUCK was the Ambulance? Second, the driver screwed up by mashing his breaks... Gad he is ok though. That was one hell of an impact.
The driver was a kid driving his Daddy's car without Daddy's knowledge. I guess the anti lock brakes malfunctioned from what I hear (something about a bump in the track). I don't know if the yellow suit guy was an EMT. I'm just glad the driver had enough common sense to race it at the track.
Good grief. Glad he's okay, though I'm guessing he'll be wishing he was in worse shape when his dad gets wind of this. Looks like he suddenly remembered he had to turn off first and got on the brakes too hard then lost control. Lucky he didn't smack the other mustang to make his night even more complicated.
wow that's some bump. sounded like it happened right after he caught a gear, maybe that clutch came out too fast and he caught a banana peel. agree with above posters, brakes didn't help.
Quick question here? if u have full coverage n this happend at a track,is ur car still coverd by the insurance comp?
Yeah, standard insurance doesn't cover anything you do at a track or on a roadcourse. One more reason to not be a dumbass and showboat. Which is usually how wrecks at tracks or roadcourses happen. Its also why they always make you sign a legal document or two when you pay at the gate.
Wasn't that bad of a hit really...as he had already slowed down before he hit...my friends were there Anyways the guys in yellow are emt/firefighters No need for an ambulance if their assessment findings didn't warrant an ambulance transport.....but there may have been one enroute i'm not sure....no neck or back pain usually = no transport I love racing at Irwindale btw! Great track prep for launches especially
