Ok so i have an 05 srt 4 me and another member of RSW installed a new setup on my car due to another great factory turbo blowing, so we did this: GT35R 57t A/R 82 38MM wastegate LOG manifold 1050 cc injectors Walbro Fuel Pump Big front mount AEM wideband SAFC 2 The car was running good but turbo charge pipe came undone so i fixed it and now i think the car is running way to rich i tried starting after we did the charge pipe and it wouldn't when it finally did it idled rough and backfired EXTREMELY loud. did my tune get jacked?? any suggestions??
Check your plugs and coil packs... Are you throwing any codes? Check your injectors as one may be clogged?
no codes or anything like that, the injectors are brand new the only thing i could think of is maybe old gas?? the car was parked for 4 months before we got it running again on 1/4 of a tank
Old gas could sure do it. Also, just because an injector is new (experience talking), doesn't mean their not clogged or bad. Since you have talked about old gas, I suggest you drain the old and add new with some fuel additive.
