I haven't been able to place all of my guns in my mind lately, so this morning I rounded them up and managed to get all that I can remember. One missing is at my dads...M1 Carbine .30 caliber paratrooper clone (folding stock) Here is a quick pic, top to bottom: 1) Remington 12 Gauge that I bought as a Wyoming Highway Patrolman when they upgraded. $110! Heck, I fired this thing at someone once 2) Interarms .22. Can't go wrong here. 3) Custom .300 Winchester Magnum (My grandpa was a gunsmith) 4) Taurus .22 Magnum revolver 5) North American Arms .22 Magnum mini pistol. I throw this in my pocket quite often. 6) High Standard .22 pistol 7) Sig Sauer P239 .357Sig pistol. When reliability matters
and i thought you were going to post pics of your arms...........lol ron will be sooooo dissappointed!
LOL...Maybe I could cut-and-paste from one of markus' pics...I hear he is a supporting member of pin-arms-R-us
Haaaaaaha ha tool-people. Ron I saw your post on "HowCanIGetBigger.com" ...but a tiny times a little is still tiny
Some nice iron right there...that .300 a Mauser action? Maybe a Rem. 700 base...How's the HS .22 auto shoot? I have a Beretta Neos 6" i did some trigger work on and added a Adco A30 1.5 MOA, that lil fugger drives tacks. Love the lil take downs...not extremely accurate, but east to tote and plink.
Here is my most recent build...It began it's life as a stock SS Ruger 10/22. Long list of modifications...trigger pull at 1/2 pound, i've shot sub 1/4 groups at 50 and 1/2's at 100 with Wolf MTE through the GM barrel. It's my go to rifle.
Nice rifle! Excellent eye about the action on the .300...it's a Remington model 30 S (slide guide). The HS .22 in a vise will shoot the same hole forever...my dad had two of them and gave one to me...I've just been packig it around with me for 20 years I used to carry a Sig in a .45 ACP and never once had it fail, stovepipe, misfeed, nuttin...I also like how easy they come apart...2 seconds and you're holding the barrel in your hand, just like the full size Berettas.
Yup, hard to beat a Sig...only other pistol i've handled that I liked better were HK's...love anything Sig, anything HK, anything 1911 (original or not)
Ahh...Remingtons version of the Mauser. Very strong action, just a little high on throw angle for me. Nice rifle. Good ole Dad...
W3RD. HK all the waaay!!! Duty gun...Night stand gun....Off duty gun. All .45 all the time. Some motivational posters I made a while back The X300 on my work gun when I was working PMs (that's about half my USP45 mags. I buy them whenever I see a killer deal on the HK forums) The 92FS was issued. I hate that gun. LCP and Airweight are my pocket rockets, and the AR is my toy, waiting for our boss to get the fuck outta office so the next one will let us carry our own long guns. And my license plate frame:grin:
Sigs have a better trigger than HKs IMO, but I like the lighter weight and higher capacity of the HKs. They are proven combat pistols and I've shot thousands of rounds through them with no hiccups. I have complete faith and trust in them, and dont mind spending $1K+ on a gat that I carry. The peace of mind is worth it to me. Plus the USP45 is a tank of a gun, has a little more intimidation over the P220s IMO.
