Like, how often do you change them?
The service plan says for 5.7 but not the 6.1....

I would assume you installed colder plugs with the blower right?

IDK...but if your car is boosted, shouldn't you want to change spark plugs more frequently than 100k miles. :dunno2:

I don't really beat on my car much, but I still change my plugs at least once a year...of course I only have to buy 4, LOL! :bigwink:

Yeah the Hemi's need 16 lol...

and to answer your question i would say it depends on how much your boosting and how you drive it (and how much) lol.

At 6k miles a year on my car...wouldnt make much sense to change them every year lol

Yeah the OEM 6.1L NGK's are 100,000 mile plugs (or so).

    Any opinions on these? http://www.pulstar.com/

The web blurbs look pretty convincing. I did a lil web searching on them last night and didn't find a solid concensus. But it did seem that most people who tried them... and dyno'd... were touting small gains, as in noise-margin small. I couldn't find any Hemi owners who tried them.

My office is right next store to where these are built, I visit them often. There is a whole discussion about this in the srt4 section. I have run a few sets and done some data logging from what I can tell as far as gains go they will disappear once your ecu learns the plug. However there does seem to be some fuel savings to be gained overall.

They must be doing ok sales wise cuz price has dropped significantly, like by 50%. That usually doesn't happen unless volume is high enough that startup costs have been recouped... or it's a fire sale to ditch existing stock cuz they're gonna closeup shop.

Nah they have really dialed in on the manufacturing and have their products with the larger chains and I have heard rumblings of an iridium coming soon.

I was tempted to try these until I saw I could get 16 OEM NGK's at Rockauto for $40. Even with the price drop I wouldn't be able to get any where near that for Pulstars.
