    Hi

Had the car in the shop to put on some GripTuning Fascias an a passport 9500ci installed, the car stayed in the shop for about 1,5 weeks, the car battery had to stayed charged because I had a issue with battery drain, sometimes the battery was disconnected

Well I got the car an as I was backing out the ETC started flashing, needless to say I had no acceleration just get you home mode.

Got home and pulled fuse 11 and also tried cycling the key on off on, also turning the engine on off on, turn the car on no ETC light wait about 3 minutes an the ETC comes on, then drove it to see if the ECM needed to learn, well now the check engine light turns on when starting the car, I can get acceleration until the ETC light comes on (3MIN) then its get home mode

WHAT HAPPEN WHILE SITTING IN THE SHOP!!!

You need to check the codes. My initial guess would be that some electrical sensor connector is loose or did not get re-connected.

Do the key dance and check for codes...likely a sensor connection, speed sensor or similar.

    Hi

    Found this on a thread

    1. Turn ignition on, but not the engine.
    2. Wait until all the warning chimes have sounded.
    3. Slowly depress gas pedal to 100% fully depressed and hold for a few seconds.
    4. Slowly let off the gas pedal until returned to 0% position.
    5. Turn off ignition.
    6. Start engine.

an it worked for the ETC (hopefully permanetly)HOWEVER

the check engine ligh is still on and my TPM is not indicating tire pressure, I drove the car thinking it had tpo learn again but no. No matter how many times I try the key cycle I get no codes on my display

    HELP

Well... the throttle calibration procedure is a complete urban legend so that wasn't it... Maybe cycling the key deferred something for a while but I'd expect it to come back. If the CEL is on there are going to be codes somewhere.

Just for grins, make sure your Intake Air Temperature sensor has the connector plugged onto it. You have an autozone around the block where you could borrow their OBDII scanner and display codes?

Your sig says "with trans limiter off". What's a trans limiter?

[edit] actually, now that I think about it, the CEL light might stay on for a couple of key/warmup cycles before clearing. But like I said, you haven't done anything to fix any problems yet.

TPM won't work with the Grip Fascia. Yea, I have one as well.

Since Grip was too cheap to add the OEM mounting holes for the sensors, there really is no concrete way of mounting the sensors well enough to work.

FreebirdSRT is going to disagree, but he is the only one I know of who could ever get the sensors to work with the Grip Fascia.

    Chip? more details please?

I'm still guessing a sensor is disconnected or poorly connected (not counting the TPM sensors).

OK drove the car around an stop started at various places, now the CEL is gone (cross fingers) however when I went to lock the car with the key fob, nothing happens, changed the battery, still no function, when I lock the door with the key it only locks the driver door, however when driving the locks close, any ideas

I made you link functional. Unless you are soliciting a non vendor, then we typically don't object to links.

Their Flash is nothing close to what a CMR tune can do. several years ago, the only tuning options we had were with a PCM flash. Needless to say, they didn't do much.

well, yes... that's the urban legend part -- that you can do it without a starscan. With the starscan you go to the throttle calibration procedure and it puts the pcm (or whatever module in the pcm) into a diagnostic mode and then it prompts you do the position pedal etc. Without a starscan you aren't calibrating or changing anything except maybe how you feel about it.

I'm kind of remembering that the vehicle security module is a (software) module in the PCM. I believe the TPM system is implemented in the same module? What kind of support do you get from kraftwerk? (for 599 lbs? how much is that in US dollars?)
