Put in the new "Stiffie" tonight!! And yes, ALL ON MY OWN!!! :D Haven't driven it yet, I'm sooooo looking forward to it!! It was just too late tonight when I got done, as I detailed the car beforehand. Anyway. I love the new Stack Performance strut tower bar, she's damn purdy in the engine bay! HOWEVER. This means I had to forfeit the use of my firewall panel. :( I've been pretty spoiled over the past couple of years, and didn't realize HOW MUCH of a cosmetic difference this piece made, until I had to leave it out tonight. Here's some before and after shots (focus your attention along the firewall, behind the intake manifold). Do you guys have any advice as to what I can do now?? Does anyone make a firewall panel for those of us with a strut tower brace??

A buddy of mine, helped me install my BWoody swaybar links last night as well. And DAMN!! Very noticeable difference on the drive home, in steering response, turn-in, and sharpness of cornering. I can't wait to feel what the addition of the the "stiffie" will do!!! The upgrades in suspension are very exciting!! Hopefully this two ton pig will feel a bit more nimble with these upgrades!!

Anyway, any advice you guys have for me, on what to do with my newly exposed firewall will be helpful. THANKS FOR LOOKING!! :D

    Chase,

Reuse the firewall piece. Either shave where the aluminum meets the strut bar to fit, or make that bad boy fit.

If not, I will buy the firewall from you. And I am serious.

Yeah. My fabricator, Walker, is a good buddy of mine. Him and his wife are coming over Saturday night to watch the UFC fight. I'll have him take a look at it then. I'm sure he can figure something out. I just wanted to poll the LX crowd and see what others have encountered with this issue.

Thanks for the help Ron. I'll let you know if do end up unloading this thing.
