Spent this weekend doing four installs of aux. trans coolers!!! Scott (1fst4dr) is to thank for spearheading getting this done. He and I had bought some old coolers from lou1355, but decided to upgrade to a better set up. The info gathered from MattRobertsons thread was priceless!! Myself, Scott, JimIsland, and TVRob all got together to thrash in my garage and do 4 installs! Talk about fun!! lol

Hopefully I will be able to prolong the life of my stock tranny with the use of this cooler!! Also, with my past install of the procharger HO fmic, I never really like the end result of how my power steering cooler was done. I ended up upgrading that as well!! I have too much "stuff" going on in the front of my car!! lol

had to mount the power steering cooler down low.... no place else to put it with all the stuff i have going on!!

(sigh....nary a beer can to bee seen.)

I would love to do something like that but today the wind was blowing the snow into small drifts against whatever was stopped or standing...I would be losing my parts. ;)

    Looks like fun!!!

Damn Jon, you serious? I was in the pool all weekend, and water temp was in the 90's...you talking about snow????

Chris, sounds like fun, and well worth the effort. Do you have anything done tranny wise? TCM, Valve body?
    What's your power output?

Do you have a before/after tranny temp?
Good times right there my friend.
Reminds me of a beer cuzie i use to have, it said...."Liquor in the front, poker in the rear".

Very wise...must have been someone else's idea...:)
I use to monitor my tranny temp with my old dashhawk, now I use the Aeroforce Interceptor...Normal driving on a hot day, it stays around 160-180...while flogging, i've seen it as high as 220, but cools down pretty quick as long as you're moving.

That's awesome Chris. I used to think you were just a "show pony", but the past year or so is proving me otherwise! I sure wish we (you, me, and Scott) could have hooked up when I was in FL last year!! Looking good brother!!

Jees Bud, I wouldn't go overboard... Chris has started turning a wrench but we haven't seen any evidence that he's made it out of the garage yet . I mean like you have the transcript of the "toyota hearings" and proving ground videos so we know you drive your car.
