recently painted the stock fuel rails red and left some parts polished to compliment the other parts and engraving. the red imo is a dead match to the brembos. i changed the 6.1 red to match on the half covers and just recently painted my SRT letters on the hood heat shield to match. i was thinking about changing my razors strut tower to red to match, but luckily i feel this is just enough. let me know what you think. just need to add the killerglass and 2 red led's and the bay is done, for now...

Will do, can't say I blame yah. I just got back from Rockingham tonight. Met up with the SRT bunch for the Mopars at the Rock meet. Had a good time, but alas the weather conspired to keep me from bettering my 1/4 miles times.

Just OK. 11.98 @ 115+mph. Track was slippery and my best run came when it was 88*. Never did better than a 1.80 60ft. Jim, Burls and the VA crew made the trip worth while. I had a blast in the pits, especially watching Jim choke down a spice, crusty, chicken beak, biscuit, burrito. That shit was rancid.

yup, they need to come out to paint. of course you can do it yourself, with those capable hands...wink...wink.... here's a quick run down, just can remember the size for the fuel rail screw, but i'm sure everyone here knows it.

    how to:

-diconnect the (-) on the battery

    -take off half covers (10mm)

-disconnect harness and hose from back of intake manifold (or disconnect hose from behind steering wheel and pull out and up to allow removal of fuel rails)

-disconnect fuel line from fuel rail on pax side (need special tool, can get it cheap at auto parts store. be sure to have a rag handy, some fuel will come out)

-take off fuel rails (can't remember socket size)

-remove injectors (need flat head screw driver to remove clip, but becareful, they will fly if you don't keep your finger on it while you unclip.)

-pull each injector out of fuel rail. (see below)

-lift fuel rail out from bay (connecting fuel rail line is tucked in back, which is why you had to disconnect the back harness and hose.)

-sand rails with 800grit sand paper and clean

-tape off areas you don't want to paint.

-stuff injector holes and tape main fuel line connect

    -high heat primer rattle can

-high heat red ford block rattle can

    -high heat clear rattle can

-wet sand if needed, buff and polish

-let dry, then install them back in reverse

note: while your at it, you should clean all areas while there exposed. i used compressor and rags.

IMPORTANT: when you take injectors out, do it outside, because some fuel will come out. have a rag handy and MAKE SURE YOU WEAR RUBBER GLOVES.
