For better part of the year I have been complaining about a popping clunking noise coming from the rear section of the jeep when coming to a stop, most prevelant during the 2 to 1 downshift right before coming to a stop. I would also hear a loud whining noise come up from under the jeep and you could hear it in the dash and after turning off the jeep you would hear an electrical/mechanical noise all of this has driven me crazy for a long time. After speaking to Bill last week about the issues without hesistation Bill offers up a new and improved Valve Body but this time using the OEM Solenoids (of course tweaked) and Bill even went as far as to make sure it was built for my application...Thats right custom made VB's, depending on what you want. I wanted smoother downshifts, firm but not neck breaking shifts and quiter solenoids and Bill delivered spot on. Some good news came out of this, speaking to the tech he said when he dropped the tranny pan he said the tranny fluid looked almost brand new in fact the new Amsoil in the bottle looked identical to the tranny fluid that has been in there for almost a year so the old stage 2 VB + Amsoil FTW. I went ahead and had the filters replaced..why not!!! Now we went for a test ride after hitting the Hwy for about 10 minutes as before all the noises came up after the jeep was nice and warm, did about a dozen stops and not one peep from the rear end, not one noise from under the jeep and not one noise after turning the jeep off...Now I was prepared for the worst but in the end between Bill not asking for a dime and covering shipping both ways I just had to pay for labor since I provided Amsoil for the tranny and diffs (had front diff serviced too..again why not!!) Im going to have my tuner do a few more things to work with the VB and I should be good. It's like riding in a brand new jeep honestly I told Bill if this did not work I was prepared to sell it, yup it had gotten to the point I hated driving it with all the noises. Next stop is muffler shop to do some more fabbing on the borla s its still slapping the jeep in a few areas after the drop but I can live with that for now. Bill THANKS, once again you delivered as promised and took care of me. If any of you guys are on the fence about the Valve body work he does just call him, tell him your mods, needs and wants and he can do it.
