Anybody fit 305's under a magnum in the rear? or heard of someone fitting 305's?

I'm gonna get some new tires for the rear soon since the one's on there are pretty much gone and I am thinking about going with Nitto 555R 305's if they'll fit. I've got 285's on there now. I tried searching on here but I can't find anything for that number?

Don't waste your money on the 555R's, go with the NT05's.

I don't think the NT05Rs come in 305/35/20. And several people are running the 555R 305s on the stock SRT wheels with no issues whatsoever. I have a pair sitting in my garage...

haha I wasn't talking about size, I HATE the 555's when I had them.

I've been in Hal's monster with the NT05's. WOW, great tire.

    Yeah, and mine are 275's

I run the 555R's as my every day tire on my Z28. Many get 12 to 15k on them. I was using the 305 18's at the track at the track , and daily drove them some too, on the 300.

I'd much rather run the NT's as a daily tire

Ron's just mad cuz he didn't have enough power to break them loose even on a rainy day! :)
I've got the 305 555's on stock 9" wheels and they work just fine. I can still overpower them easily but they are better than any others I've had, for the street that is.

I am running the 305 555's on stock wheels...love em. I pulled a 1.624 60' on an open diff with them...LOVE them on the street, much more traction for every day. I got 2k out of a set of street tires, at 475-500 rwhp, they tend to go quick, with the DR's you should get longer life because you wouldn't be spinning near as much. I know alot of my street tires being done at 2k was my fault, but damn.

Cool! good info! I only got about 8K out of my 420's but alot of that was my fault especially after the diablo and the exhaust.
