You know the nice thing about never having been drag racing before...

No matter how :censored: the time is, it's still a personal best.

Here are some pics from my 1st ever runs drag racing. I was very disappointed with my over-all numbers. However, the day was a total success because as :censored: as my times were...I was still fast enough to run my brother down, twice. :bigwink: I didn't get to run him down the third time, 'cause I beat him at the tree...I LOL'd when we got to talking about the last run and he was like...what the heck happened? The light turned green, and all of a sudden you were like GONE!

    Last run...

After our third run, someone lost it, or something broke, and the guy ended up redecorating his car using the walls on both sides, so the track was shut down for awhile...after about 45 min with the track closed, we decided to head for home.

I'm still undecided if I'll go back. :( I wanted to run a 13.XXX. :( Trying for that would be the only reason I'd go back. I'm sure given enough practice I could figure it out, but it wasn't as much fun as I expected. I guess I'm just a sucker for turning.

^ LOL, I guess. Obviously, I'll have to take your word for it. But you don't have to be fast to have fun in the turns.

What mods do you have? What were the track conditions?

Your 60' times are a little slow but you should be trapping a lot higher...hmmm

Break out teh boost leak tester:magic:

I don't think there was any track prep, or minimal at best. As for mod's the only performance mods I have are Stage 1 with Stage 2 WGA. Boost spikes about 18-19 holds 16. My trap speeds are what really disappointed me...'cause I expected to be a lot faster. I didn't expect great times being that this was the first time I've ever done any drag racing...but I did expect to break 100mph.:wallbash:

    Your traps are way low.

I was trapping 99 MPH at my worst. That was S1, Borla C-back, and AEM intake...in Guam....where track conditions are less then optimal.

And since I have never done a boost leak test on my car during the six years of ownership, I know I could have done better, just like I know you can do better too.
