After much heartache and a LOT of modification, we have finished installing a Kenne Bell on a 2009 Challenger R/T, apparently the only one in the country...for now. With 10psi and a custom DTP tune we made 479rwhp and 490rwtq. The install was a long and tedious one, but Sean Kelley made it happen. We finally got the car on the dyno last night and Brent worked his magic to make the numbers.

We will have a video on youtube and on our FB page early next week of the final dyno run.

WOW congrats cant wait to see the pics and sounds of it running the KB is pure sex when ramped up. Are you guys running meth injection for added protection to keep the EGT temps down?

Nice, but not the only one. We had one in our shop a few months ago, We didn't do the install but we did some other work on it, I believe his had a forged bottom end but it was a 5.7 chally.

    Nice work and numbers!

Frank + Sean + Brent = DTP. Kind of hard to beat that combo! Can't wait for next week dudes! A lot more transmission from SHR, a lil' more boost from DTP and I'll be a happy camper.

Congratulations on the KB 5.7 Challenger. If anyone could do it, it was you guys!

Thanks, wasn't trying try to steal anyones thunder, we were just going by what KB told us. They had said that Adam at ST Motorsports had done "one" on a 06 5.7 Charger. I think Josh at HHP is going to be doing one soon also. Kind of scary that KB called us to find out what had to be modified to make it fit. Whatever happened to R&D before selling...lol

The MDS solenoids are the reason they dont fit. The manual 5.7 challys fit with no problems.

KB Coolant block doesn't fit and front snout bracket had to be extensively modified, the bottom of the KB intake and the engine boss for the VCT solenoid had to be massaged, fuel bolt, rails needed to be 6.1 and a couple other little things and this is a 6 spd car.
