Got an email from shop hemi that the Manga Chargers are now available for purchase. Are they actually ready for delivery or is this a pre-order? If they are ready are there any plans for the SRT8 Jeep?
Yup, they've been out for a little while now. But the way the plenum opening is done, it doesnt look like it would be easily adaptable to the GCSRT8 See this thread for more pics... http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16139
Heres my local buddy with a maggie on his Chally http://www.streetfire.net/video/schello-driving-his-srt8-challenger-at-mojave-mile_740283.htm
If they can get the harness extender, two terminal extenders and a battery tray, they can swap them like Techco did. Was one of the easier parts of the install, but I think people will be resistant to the idea. Those things have some nice results on other vehicles. interested in seeing how they turn out if they ever make it on the jeep. With front intake, should be enough room in the back of that kit to fit with our tight rear and heater hoses. Everything in supercharger time takes longer, lots of "ready in 6 months for Jeeps" milestones passed. LXs get the chance first.
THere is a plan for a Jeep Kit. Brian from Magnacharger was actually on another board looking for someone in socal with a STOCK SRT8 Jeep to do some mock ups on recently. Jeep kit will look similar to the Ram kit that has been posted on other sites. It will have a passenger side air inlet so no swapping of the battery will be needed. Plan is also to be 50 state emissions legal with a CARB EO number.:towel: J
Get this kit made for the jeep already!!! haha These are the beast looking and sounding superchargers on our hemi.
Yep stretchng it just a little. No offense Mgna Charger....but I wouldn't throw a Kenne Belle out of bed for eating crackers either. ..
