Are the smaller interior SRT8 emblems, under the ac vent on the passenger side, metal like the outside one's?
They would look just right under the HEMI emblem on the side of the car...don't anybody steal this idea....yet.
Thye must not be metal or someone would have already done this for sure.

I didn't think the outside ones were metal. They sure don't weigh like they should if they were metal unless it's just the coat on em. IMO, that would clutter the fender part up..have you seen the 6.1L Hemi emblems on Ebay? They can be a nice addition but the guy who makes them is on crack. Check and you'll see what I'm talking about lol. I wanted these but decided to put the trunk lid emblem on instead. Car should have come this way OR they should have made it say 6.1 Hemi in an AMG-style font.

That is why I wanted the smaller SRT8 emblems to not make the fender look too cluttered....Just the Hemi emblem with the SRT8 logo above or below it.
I agree with you totally with you on the fact our cars should have come with some sort of badging letting others know we do not JUST have a 5.7 liter HEMI (no real offence to those that do). Even something small like having the black HEMI logo in Orange or red or 6.1 somewhere in the badging..... this has been a pet peeve of mine about the car badging for some time.

I have seen some nice all metal 6.1 HEMI badges in stainless somewhere.....

I'd like to see a custom Badge that integrated SRT/HEMI/6.1L in some way shape or form...im not creative enough to put it together in a visually appealing way....any photochoppers?

The one on the vent costs 75 bux or so. Something about it coming with the whole dash piece. At least that's what my Dodge parts dept. told me . I wanted to put that one in a similar place in the GC way back when. I said ferget that for 75 bux! I now have a HEMI badge for the GC in that spot instead.

UM no. Don't use super glue! lol. There are safer adhesives and two-way sticky and weather resistant tapes out there lol. Yes, Larry's is the one I was referring to. I wanted to order the plain satin....175 bucks for 2 I think...damn...screw that. I go this from a guy on Ebay making them from BC in Canada and haven't put it on yet. Great quality and cheap cheap!

hahaha....well whatever you use to stick it back on is up to you...the "SRT8" emblem is just barely peeling off...so if you stick that back on your fine...

if i get a new one i'll give it to whoever wants it for $5+shipping haha

These are real nice, well made and different designs painted or polished......but $175 pair! Look worth it......almost.
Also an interesting site doing modern Hemi conversions. check it out...they have a bunch of pics of a build on a '70 Challenger with a 6.1.

If it's "loose", have them look at it and order the replacement. Take it off. When you go back just tell them it finally fell off and you threw it away since they already had one ordered... :bigwink:

Don't do it. Somebody else tried a few combinations of multiple badges and they all looked bad. The good thing is that I've found that they're removeable. I used the 3M molding backing. Only thing is that I only found it in gray instead of black. You can only see it if you get right up close against the side of the car and look straight down on the badge.
