Has anybody replaced the serpentine belt yet? If so is it dificult? What special tools if any I would need? Thanks
easy...... remove the air intake, get a 3/8" breaker bar or ratchet to fit into the tensioner pulley, pull back to release tension and remove. reverse for install. pretty easy.....
actually you want to pull back to install also... you won't get it on while pushing forward
Reminds me, i have a brand new stock Mopar belt if you want it...Pay for shipping and it's yours...first one PM's me get it.
I've got to change the belt on my R/T, I think, when I'm at high throttle I get a squeal at each shift point~ Sound like the belt slipping to you guys????
SO I'm sorry for asking so many questions but all I have to do is put a socket on the tensioner and (pull) counterclock wise to release tension - Its not a loosen the nut situation?
