Ok, i bought the autometer A/F "sport comp" gauge and on the back, there are 5 wires. One is red. I know that goes to a switched power, one black that i will ground to the back of the head and there is a BROWN, BLUE and BLACK/BLUE. This is how the instructions list wires, BROWN wire(optional peak/recall$warning WOT switch): connect to wide open throttle switch. Required for peak recall functionality. BLUE WIRE(optional data logger signal output): Connect to signal input(+) or engine management system or data acquisition unit BLUE/BLACK(optional data logger signal ground): Connect to signal input(-) on engine management system or data acquisition unit. Ok, so do i not have to hook up the brown wire to the #7 injector(red plug)? And is the blue and the black/blue wires just to hook up to say a trinity or some other form of monitoring device that can data log? Not sure if all i need to do is only hook up a positive and a ground. I would think there is more to it but maybe i am wrong. I did a search and found nothing other then a zeitronix install.
Well... I have no idea LOL. but I'm willing to babble a bit Blue and Blue/Black are going to be your 0v-5v analog output. Yes, for your Trinity or DashDaq or whatever. Just having to hook up a positive and ground sounds reasonable. It is just for the display gauge. You're already past the controller.
