I dunno if any of you guys have had problems with the site, but I believe I just got reprimanded for a political viewpoint. I posted a few pro-Toyota points and was reprimanded a few minutes later because my signature contained the word "damn". I stated my case to the moderator, but he gave me a rather rude response. I'm wondering if I should just leave the forum and convince a local shop to pull their vendor membership because of it. I guess when the forum has a few thousand words of rules its time to leave.
There is a reason I do not go to SRTF. We do not typically allow for "site bashing" However as of late I have cared less and less for that site. LOL Sit down make this place your home, and please let your 4 friends know about us! I would love to see more 4 brothers over here
Yea all the mods on that site are asshats that have nothing better to do and lives on that site hell I even got a infraction on that site
I had a similar experience with another site (the red one) and was so turned off at how they handled things that I swore them off. I don't know that I would go the whole "tell the vendor" on them route, as that's a bit heavy-handed, maybe mention in passing  But anyway, yeah as long as you're not an utter douchebag over here, we're generally not all gestapo about things.
Yea... I noticed I have been getting a lot of crap and virus PMs from that sie recently. Leis see.....SRT8OC....oh yea..... that site used to be my primary SRT residence..... before i moved. I guess they are just reminding me they are still there. "Can't seem to find A CURE???? I thought you were done with that forum? ..
i visited the SRTF a couple of times and i was not impressed at all. i keep getting EMAILS from the SRT8OC club as well. dont kno why.
I knew that. I just thought you had left it behind (sold your share?) because you didn't fully own the site name and management. So you moved to "own" another forum name on your own with partners (Mains) to run the site. I didn't know you were still involved with the SRTOC.com site. How is that for having screwed up ideas? ...
I visit one other car site regularly (it's local to me) but spend most of my time here. I met Ron many moons ago, and was very impressed with the way he handles things, and his general way of thinking. We are a lot alike...true car guys. It boils down to friendship, i strongly support this site, because Ron is my friend, and worthy of the support. :ilovesrtc::ilovesrtc::ilovesrtc::ilovesrtc::ilovesrtc::ilovesrtc::ilovesrtc:
I havent posted on that forum in YEARS either. I joined when I first got my Neon SRT4 in late 2005. I immediately noticed how immature and VERY unknoledgeable a good bit of them are/where. Seemed like a bunch of punk kids who didnt know SHIT about cars in general. I was going on the site just to look at some of the SRTs for sale just for the hell of it. But then they started getting all the virus' etc, so I stopped even looking.
