I'll never forget when he ran the 11.3. At that time it was unheard of to run that fast in one of these pigs. Most everyone was in disbelief.

Here's a pic of Ron's car at Spring Fest 08. I'll never forget his reaction when I asked him to be in performance row. Even though the guy had one of the fastest and baddest rides in the nation, he was blown away I would ask. The guy didn't have a pretentios bone in his body. The kinda of guy that would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. When Ozzie ended up going upside down on coin for the track day, Ron was the first guy that stepped up and donated additional funds to help out a brother LX'r.

Moa stated it best. The guys heart was as big as he was.

I couldn't believe it when Ron called me this morning telling me of Ron's passing. That's my car next to his in the picture. Cindy started crying when I told her. She thought he was such a nice, well mannered soft spoken, gentleman. Ron left me use some N2O at that SpringFest. He was the quickest LX that day, and mine was the fastest. I asked him how much I owed him for the N2O, he said don't worry about it, you didn't use that much. We talked a few times on the phone, and I have his number on speed dial. I've been telling myself lately that I needed to call him, to see how he was coming with his new mods, and see how he was doing. I'm so sorry I didn't now. He was way to young to be taken from us. I looked forward to seeing him at SpringFest. Ron, your will be sorely missed.

 

Wow, I'm 33. This is very sad news. I never met the guy, but it's always sad when someone goes, especially unexpectedly.

I don't even know where to start except to say how much Ron will be missed.

Mark (SRT5150) called and told me of the tragic news, I just can't believe it.

Ron was a Great man, and a Good friend.

Ron, and I talked just last week about driving down to Spring Festival together, how he was going to trailer his car to Irvine. I just can't believe this.

Every time I look at my car now, I'm thinking about Ron, and all the wonderful things he made for me.

Rest in Peace Ron, I'll being seeing you again.

wow, such sad news. he was one of the few that i met within the lx community and was always a very nice, chill guy. i cant remember where he lived, was it stockton, vacaville or sac?

Ken,I also just talked to him about a week or so ago,We have been chatting about his new build,He was etting excited to finally have it oging.Especially for springfest. Its a damn shame.He will be missed for sure

 

He made this mini-CenCal tee for Madeline and didn't charge extra for it, he was just that nice of a guy. I'm sorry she'll never get to know him as she gets older.
