going to SpringFest. First there's the uncertainty of Marc's job situation, my income going away, my questionable growth in my thyroid, my whack-a-do metabolism making my blood sugars erratic, Marc's lack of vacation time at his latest job if he still has it next month, my car getting smacked and the bumper being on back-order for two months and now, the final straw, to cap it all off, I got a jury summons notice for March 16th!!!! So, yeah...seriously, on so many levels, I can't go to SpringFest this year. This is why I'm pumping it up and making a big deal of it. 1) I want you all to enjoy it as much as I know I would 2) I want it to be so huge they HAVE to have another one next year when things should be much better for me and I can bring Madeline and actually enjoy myself and introduce her to you all.
Tam getting out of jury duty is easy, just answer each question with "KILL EM ALL and LET GOD SORT THEM OUT" worked for me in traffic court
just keep ya head up n think positive. i kno how u feel about (SRT) parts being on back order. it took me 2 months to get a front facia for my magnum.
You don't know me very well. I have no poker face, I look guilty when I try to lie and well, yeah. I suck making an ass of myself. In Oakland (I'm in the same county) you basically have to make racist insults or scream about how the American justice system is bullsh*t. Two things I could not do with a straight face, nor would I want to make racist remarks in well, downtown Oakland considering I'm about as pasty as it gets. :fear: I'm slightly optimistic that I won't get called, since my group number ends in 4 instead of 0 or 1. The 0s and 1s ALWAYS have to report, where as the higher the last digit, the slimmer the odds you'll have to report. I got lucky last year as my jury summons was on the same day as the inauguration and everyone decided to play hooky and not bother calling in jury candidates.
You just call them up and say it's inconvenient and you'd like to reschedule. I think they will automatically push it out a month or two. Problem solved.

Your bumper cover is availible on ebay - some outfit in Florida is always selling them. Getting the car right will help your outlook.....
x2. I always postpone mine to a holiday. If that doesn't work, we have a form letter at work that says how important our organization is the to the community (only children's hospital for MANY miles) and that I can't miss work. I understand why you might have to skip this one, but you should know that you will be missed. Sometimes grown-up life sucks.

LOL!!! Thanks guys. Maybe my luck will change in a major way over the next three weeks, but gees. We'll be okay, I'll be okay, just a whole lot of little crap to aggravate me right now. When Marc brought in the jury summons I had to just laugh. Its like it's all piled on to say "you're NOT going to SpringFest!" "Uncle" already!
Tam. since you don't have a poker face, Try Hardship & Stress, your husband's work, your health (Diabites & Tyroid) , your young child. If worst comes to worst at least you can get a post-ponment. Go to Spring Featival, than stress-out later when you get called back ? I would be nice to see you with the rest of the crew this year.
