After driving east infront of the latest storm on Tuesday, covered in slush, I left it in the driveway. After 26 hours of snow, this is what I found this morning.

Got it out after an hour.

You guys in the south, south west, and Cali don't know what you're missing.

But I don't want it...after 4 years of very little snow, we have set the all time record (since they started mesuring it) for snow fall here in the Philly area...and more coming Monday then again next Saturday...global warming??????

Have a 4 car garage, but right now there is only room for one car and you can guess who's car is in there....

Seen it like that plenty of times when I lived in upstate New York, most of my life and moved to the Carolinas to get away from all of that ~ don't miss it!
However, here we get more ICE than snow, which isn't conforting either! LOL

Dahahahaha, you got to go see the snow sometime Wade. It's really pretty neat the first time.

No, I have never heard of a roof having problems with heavy snow build up. Nothing to worry about there. Thing is that it's spread evenly over the entire surface area of the roof. It's not like walking on it. Maybe if it was really heavy wet snow about 3' deep on a rag top... It's flat roofed houses that you have to worry about.

Know about how you all deal with the ice...Back in the 80's I spent a "pleasant" night trying to sleep on the floor of the Charlotte airport due to ice.

Roofs are dropping all around...homes, fire stations, churches, schools, drug stores, even Wal Mart and Home Depot..they send crew onto the roof to try and shovel them off
