Stg1 Check Engine Light!! Brand New!

And thats really too bad about MPx....I ordered damn near everything through them (when I had my SRT-4) and the customer service and turnaround time was great! I had most of my parts within three weeks of ordering....and I was on Guam!

 

I'd be super pissed off if I had to wait that long. Glad all is well now atleast :clap:

yea you are telling me. i cant say at this point it was worth the wait but it does pull damn hard.

 

Hey $h!t happens. i don't really blame them. i have ordered lots of things from them with no problems. i Blame Mopar. they make the computer. and its not really there fault either. a supplier that make a circuit board would not send them any until they got paid after the bankruptcy thing.

 

Super pissed off was when i got the first one and it would not work. That was pissed off. Thinking I was not going to get a computer at all. Luckily i spoke with Jim (I think it was) and said there is not warranty on the part but only if that part works. if you got it and it does not work then it is under warranty. so 6 months later i had my computer. But He (Jim) had explained that i was the #2 thing on their weekly meeting on customer care. so I am just glad that it all worked out.

 

yea money is tight now though. solid motor mounts are next, tint @ 5%, and the MPx billet clutch thing.

 

The clutch pivot piece? I've been eyeing that thing for awhile now. Its on my list of want parts haha.

 

Ill get that next month i think. its only $40. solid motor mounts are a must my inserts work ok but you still have to squeeze the throttle too much to stop wheel hop.

 

Wow...you are more patient than I am. I'd have been totally beyond pissed having to wait that long. But I'm glad it all worked out for you.

 

Believe me I was pissed off but what could i do. Technically Mopar did not have to do any thing but since i called the day got it they took care of it. I am patient but i did not know i was that patient. I would be out $500 if i wasn't patient though. so oh well. no i cant even tell if i like it any more that is bad part. i have wanted an SRT4 since the first time is saw one in 03. i did not buy until 2009! 6 years of waiting to finally have one. i did settle on a red one when i wanted White. Which i should have waited another week i could have gotten a White 05 w/ even less miles then mine. but that's the way it goes. It does make me smile every time i drive it though.
