The left side of my front fascia is cracked and the left signal lamp is smushed/cracked too. Doesn't look like a hard hit, but enough to do damage. *sigh*

And I was already wondering how I'd come up with funds to touch up the hood since there's a paint chip that's growing. If I had a job, I'd say screw it and just get the whole front end fixed up right, but I don't and the deductible is $500.

I'll post pics when I get over being sick about this and go out and take some. Ugh.

Well, Marc wants me to get it fixed quick, cause he knows how I am about my car and it is the primary transport for Madeline. And Steve says he knows a shop. So going to try and work out something.

The car was parked at one of the handful of spaces I can choose from in my apartment complex. The options are tiny skinny sub-compact sized side-by-side spaces and roomy parallel spaces, most of which are under pine and other horny (pollen-heavy) trees. So I have like five spaces that are parallel, long enough and not under trees. And the car was parked in one of those, where it usually is. It looks like someone slowly backed into it. It only impacted the corner where the plastic bits are and there's no debris on the ground or paint-transfer. Just cracked fascia and signal light.

Sorry to hear about this Tamara. Shit like that pisses me off to no end! You get fucked by either paying for it out of pocket or paying a deductible to get it fixed!!! Asshole!!

Talked to Mom, since she works for All-State. She said I may end up not paying a thing, depending on how they look at it. So who knows..

Wow, I know that must really hurt, especially with the SF coming up quickly. I hope it all works out well, and the insurance company pays for it all.

Okay, taking it into the shop tomorrow morning for the adjuster to inspect. Between the costs of a new fascia and whatever else, plus labor and paint and the fact I have a $500 deductible, I'll just get it fixed now and then worry with getting it just perfect when time and money allow.

Awe man...then you have to pay twice. I'm happy to donate to the deductible cause for your T. Maybe the group can get you there or close enough where you could afford the balance..Or...
Do you have anything you would like to sell?
I appreciate that you appreciate your car like you do, and want to see it back to shiny/pretty just like you like it. I'm always looking for crap, so let me know.

Hmm, stuff to sell. I got a big screen tv that may or may not work and has been in storage since 2003. I've got a ton of Mopar magazines, model cars, trinkets from SEMA, stickers, caps. An ATX computer tower with all the components except hard disks. An older stereo/cd-disc changer (the old kind before ipods). Maybe Marc's old nano since he never uses it after I got it for him for christmas. Yeah...not really sure what you'd even be interested in.

Oh, still got my 402 painted taillights. Might be a little scratched though. Hmm..

Looks like some of the guys on LXforums want to chip in. At this point any help, even moral support is appreciated.

Ok, I can't take money for this. I'll get it fixed so its drive-able and put full-on makeover for the Charger at the top of my list for post-graduation and post-job acquisition things to do.
